Well, there is not really any exciting news in the Keith household. Zach is officially done with school because he took off the last 2 weeks for a paternity leave. Unfortunately, he has been sick and unable to enjoy the first week. Let's hope this week is just a little better.
Jacoby attended his first birthday party. It was our friend Meredith's 30th at the roller rink in Liberty. We also took a picture of him with Meredith's son, Deacon, because they live down the street, so Deacon will be walking over to ask if Jacoby can come outside and play in a couple of years. :) Jacoby was crying at one point and our friend Megan said, "Oh no, Deacon, Jacoby's crying!" so Deacon rubbed his back and said, "Don't cry, Baby!" and Jacoby instantly stopped. Deacon started cheering and pumping his fist in the air. It was pretty cute!
Our other picture is posted because our friend Heather just came back from Virginia for the summer and kept talking about how she needed to get a picture with Jacoby because "everyone else had one". (Heather also helps with the youth, roomed with me in Peru and was baptized with Zach and I last April). This one's for you, Heather, because I know you will see it. :)
Jacoby is SO fun right now because he is smiling and cooing all the time. It is not uncommon for me to feel overwhelmed by how much I love him and just start crying. Before being a mommy, I knew I would love it, but I couldn't understand how much. Zach and I often discuss how hard it is to remember life without Jacoby. We had way more time on our hands than we realized!
PS... Happy 17th Birthday to my 4x100 record-setting relay-running little sister (4 days later). Happy 28th Anniversary to my mom and dad!:) I love you guys!

Amanda, Now you know why I cry all the time over Erin and the boys. They grow up so fast. They are the joys of my life and I can't imagine what I would ever do with out them. Enjoy all the little moments of these times. They will go by fast as you are already finding out. It will be so nice to spend the summer months watching him grow! Jessica
