Jacoby had his 2 Month Wellness Check Up last week and I left while my kids were at recess to meet Zach and Jacoby at the pediatrician's office. He started screaming as soon as they started undressing him. At that point, I thought, "Wow, wonderful. He will scream until he gets his shots and then he will be crying so hard he will stp breathing". So they measured him and I turned around and covered my ears in the corner. Surprisingly, he just cried a few seconds and then it was over! He didn't even seem to care! Now I am just trying to figure out what everyone gets so worked up about!
Jacoby was 11lb 4 oz and 23 inches. I don't know what his head was (after they pop out of you, does it really matter?) but Dr. Lowry broke the news that sadly, he is in the 50th percentile across the board. What happened to 90th in length?!?! Although he didn't say so, I'm sure Zach's high hopes that he would be a towering 6'5" like his Grandpa Dale started to diminish a little bit.
I had to go back to school but when I came home Jacoby woke up from his nap and just let out a moan while he was awake the next couple hours. It was SUCH A TERRIBLE FEELING! I just wanted my little baby to feel better and I couldn't do anything about it. I cancelled my social plans and literally held him the entire evening and we napped together. It was pretty wonderful.
